Common problems in the apartment and how to prevent or solve them

  • Close the main water valve in the apartment.
  • Wipe off the water as soon as possible so that the celling of the neighbors below you does not overflow.

  • Make sure that the main circuit breaker of the apartment is not fallen.
  • Check that the fuses are not fallen.

  • Make sure that the main water valve for your apartment is not switched off.
  • Check the notice board in the house for information on water outages or contact the building management, which can help resolve the situation.
  • Open the website pvk.cz – check whether your apartment address is in the reported accidents, or report the accident to speed up the solution.

  • Check the notice board in the house for hot water shutdown information.
  • Find out whether the heating system does not report an error or makes an unusual sound (hissing) – follow the manual.
