When checking the points to take over the apartment, the following steps must be followed, please:
1) Handing over all keys to the apartment, including the cellar and mailbox, garage remote (if included in the apartment), and chips for entry into the building – all in the number specified in the handover protocol from the day of signing the sublease agreement
2) General cleaning
- Cleaning all windows, wiping frames, shutters, and checking curtains
- Clearing and wiping all closed cupboards and shelves
- Cleaning floors and carpets (if included in the apartment)
- Cleaning the shower and bathtub, including cleaning the drains
- Polishing shower curtain hooks
- Polishing mirrors in the apartment
- Cleaning kitchen appliances inside and out (with recommended cleaning agents) – cleaning oven, hob, extractor hood, dishwasher (including filters and drainage), washing machine (including filters), dryer (including filters), microwave and fridge
- Washing the kitchen sink and equipment (if included in the apartment). Cleaning the sofa or upholstered dining chairs
- Clearing waste
- Cleaning the toilet
- Cleaning interior doors, including tightening any loose handles and hinges
- Removing any mold in the apartment
3) Painting the apartment
- Ensuring clean walls without spots and holes from pictures, shelves, curtains, etc.
- Painting all walls to their original state as per the condition at the time of the apartment's handover (usually white)
4) Functionality of equipment
- Checking the functionality of appliances
- Checking the closing of cupboards and drawers
- Providing manuals for individual appliances, if available at the time of apartment handover
- Checking the functionality of lights and switches in the apartment
- Checking the functionality of fans/air conditioning in the apartment
